In plain English: it’s dust-tight and can take a blast of water without flinching. We spend a lot of time sealing the wiring points and the lamp sockets. If moisture creeps into those terminals, you get oxidation. That creates resistance, the connection starts overheating, and suddenly you’ve got a real problem on your hands. We stop that before it starts. A quick heads-up on installation These heaters are great. They hit you with instant warmth the second you flip the switch. But there is a catch. Because the IP65 housing is so tightly sealed, it traps some heat around the internal wires. You can’t just bury the unit in a wall. Give the chassis a little room to breathe.
